We emailed you recently with regard to a visit to Wollaton Hall, see below. They are quite difficult to deal with, but basically they are saying: We can park our cars ( Morgans only ) outside the Hall if we arrive at 10.30am. We think this is free, but normal parking is £5. The price of the tour is £15pp We can have a private tour at 11am ( pre-paid by you to us and then from us to them ) as long as there are 20 of us. Otherwise everyone would have to book individually online. The Tudor Kitchens are accessible via the lift, and then there is a staircase for access to the Admiral’s bath. There is no alternative to the steps for the Prospect Room and half-roof. The full tour is approximately 45mins – an hour long. Could you therefore please let us know if you would like to attend this event so that we can see if we meet the required number of 20 people. UPDATE Arrangements for Wollaton Hall have now been finalised and details are below. Please read them, even if you’re not booked, as we are now running a cancellation list; and definitely read them if you are booked as they contain payment details. Cancellation: Stuart/Keri.   Our private tour is at 11am on Thursday July 9th, Morgans need to be parked by 10.30am outside the Hall They have given us special rates as it should be £15pp per visit, £8pp for the private tour and £6 parking. They are charging us £15pp all inclusive and allowing us to park Morgans in front of the Hall. If we pay by bank transfer it will be a lot of messing about and you will have to pay now as it will have to be paid to Nottingham County Council by LinMog after it’s collected from attendees then passed to Wollaton. The easiest way is for us to pay on credit card and then re-coup from LinMog. We must pay Wollaton by Monday June 29th. In order for all payments to be received by LinMog to enable a transfer to us you must therefore pay LinMog before we go away on our summer weekend ie by Wednesday June 17th. This gives us chance to chase anyone who hasn’t paid after we come back before we make payment. You can pay LinMog now if you wish, but reminders will be sent out nearer the time to make payment by Wednesday June 17th.
