Incorporating this set of core instructional skills into your teaching repertoire will allow medical faculty, both experience and junior, to become more effective educators and prepare residents for life-long learning (an ACGME core competency). This Stanford Faculty Development program will showcase three priority skills of Giving Feedback, Evaluation, and Self-Directed Learning, which are a practical and appropriate formal introduction to clinical instruction.
