This session will be held in-person only in 478 O'Dowd Hall, Oakland University.Presented by Cody Bailey-Crow, M.Ed., M.A.Description:Join us for a 90-minute deep dive into digital accessibility. We’ll spend the first 30 minutes providing a brief review of ADA Title II (what it requires and how that impacts OUWB faculty, staff, and leaders) and then briefly tour Panorama, our new ADA compliance-checker, to demonstrate how it audits content in your Moodle and eSpace courses. The remaining hour will be a dedicated hands-on review of how to remediate digital content for Title II compliance. Bring your own course materials—slide decks, supplemental materials, or videos—and we will work through the remediation process together, in real time.Objectives:By the end of this sessions participants will be able to:Recall the major ADA Title II compliance requirements for digitally-shared content. (NOTE: This objective will be covered within a pre-session document that will be sent to participants prior to the session).Use Panorama to identify and remediate common Title II issues in both Moodle and eSpace.Identify and remediate several types of common Title II issues across a variety of content types (including presentations, documents, and videos).
