A Skyroot Aerospace Vikram I rocket will launch on its first test flight. It will attempt to carry four CubeSats, two hosted payloads and two ornamental payloads to orbit. CubeSats on this flight are Solaras S3 and Scope. Solaras S3 will validate Grahaa's nanosatellite bus and other subsystems, and transmit images taken by its optical payload via SSTV signals. Grahaa Space is developing a nano satellite constellation for Earth observation. Hosted payloads are Embrace, which is a robotic-arm tech demonstrator. It is developed by Hyderabad-based Cosmoserve Space for active space debris removal applications. The other hosted payload package is uD3PP & mD3RN by DCUBED Space. The mission is named "Aagaman" by Skyroot. The four stage Vikram I rocket uses three solid stages (Kalam 1200, 250, 100) and a hypergolic fueled upper stage propelled by a Raman-2 engine. - Delayed from February, Q2 2024, September and February.
