Australia's 2019-2020 Black Summer bushfires are one of the defining events many of us have lived through, but this theme is much broader than that, please take it in any direction you like.Perhaps a piece about the landscape, memory, climate, family, wildlife, fear, resilience, regrowth, ect ect!Poem, short story, essay, scene, prompts, something you've already written that fits the theme. No need to prep either as this is low stakes. You can work on your writing on the night. Slyfe is a community project! We run free, offline, participatory events. Think activities, workshops, skill share programs, discussion groups, collective actions— you name it!
