Geared towards ages 18+ $30 Instructor: Spencer JohannesLocation: Clay Cavern at the Austin ArtWorks CenterDescription:This introductory class is designed for beginners to try wheel throwing. In a small group setting (2-3 participants), we’ll focus on centering clay, forming basic shapes, and exploring the fundamentals of the pottery wheel. No finished pieces will be made, making it a fun, low-pressure introduction for those curious about pottery.In the event of a class not meeting the minimum required participation, Austin Area Arts (AAA) reserves the right to cancel any class within 48 hours of the scheduled class. For any class canceled by AAA, refunds will be issued to the original payment method or can be converted to account credit to be used on a future class.
