Cygnus Arioso Winter Gala 2026 marks the pinnacle of our chamber music season - an evening of rare scale, depth, and artistic gathering.Opening with Strauss’ profound Metamorphosen, a work of reflection and collective voice, the program culminates after the interval in one of the greatest achievements of the chamber repertoire: Schubert’s String Quintet. Monumental in both emotional reach and architectural scope, this is music that demands not only exceptional artistry, but a deep sense of trust and communion between players.It is a true honour to welcome Graeme Jennings, Yoko Okayasu, and Isaac Davies, travelling from Brisbane to join the all-star friends of Cygnus Arioso for this extraordinary occasion.
