The 4-H Horse Protégé Program is back and ready to start a new year!We are excited to have 6–9-year-olds interested in learning ALL about horses in a fun and educational way to join us. We meet for one-hour meetings monthly from October through March. After that, we begin meeting one on one with assigned mentors and their horses until the Washtenaw Fair in July.Teen mentors wanted! Mentors need to be at least 13 years old, have shown horses at the fair for two years and have a deep knowledge of horses, tack and care.
