Paul Fericano is a socio-political satirist and editor of Yossarian Universal News Service (YU News), the nation’s first parody news syndicate founded in 1980. He is the author of several books of poetry including The Hollywood Catechism and Things That Go Trump in the Night, winner of the 2020 Bulitzer Prize. His word-for-word parody of Allen Ginsberg’s poem “Howl” (“Howl of Lon Chaney, Jr”), was praised by the late poet Jack Mueller and awarded a Mark Fischer Poetry Prize by the Telluride Institute in 2015. Born and raised in San Francisco, he lives on the San Francisco Peninsula with best pal and partner, Kathy Daly. yunews.com K.Lipschutz (formerly klipschutz) is the pen name of Kurt Lipschutz. First fruits: The Erection of Scaffolding for the Re-Painting of Heaven by the Lowest Bidder (o.p.). Most recent: Premeditations and the privately issued Mr. Congeniality: a klipschutz miscellany. He has co-written approximately 100 songs released by Chuck Prophet. Between 2014 and 2017, along with Jeremy Gaulke, he edited the collectible minimag Four by Two. K.Lipschutz lives in downtown S.F. with Colette Jappy, two cats, and the new kid in town, Dante the Inferno.
