I live in Kent, UK, with my patient wife, Hazel. Over the years, I have learned a lot as I moved from being an amateur to a semi-professional and then a professional photographer. Along the way, I have taken part in camera clubs, competitions, weddings, commercial shoots, talks, lectures, teaching, art sales, online sales, and building websites.About the talk We will explore the basics of black-and-white photography and discuss what makes a strong black-and-white image.We will discuss how photographers process their black-and-white images and share helpful tips for achieving the best results.To wrap up, we will look at a series of images, starting with the original raw files and following the thought process through to the final black-and-white versions.
