Southern Region Athletics Carnival to be held atTwigg Oval, Cowra on Friday, 31st July 2026. Please note that this date falls in thesecond week of Term 3.Organisation: The Carnival will commence at 9.00am with a briefing for Team Managersand Officials. Events commence at 9.15am. If postponement on 31st July is necessary, earlymorning text messages/phone calls and emails will be sent to the nominated staff of yourschool. The backup date for this Carnival is Friday, 7th August 2026Venue : The carnival will be held at Twigg Oval in Cowra. Competitor Levy: Cost per competitor will be $10.00. The levy covers the marking of theoval, programs, lunch for managers and officials etc. Canteen Facilities: A Canteen will be operating on the day with lots of warm food, tea,coffee etc. Morning tea and lunch will be provided for Team Managers and Officials on theday.  These people will receive a card to take to the canteen to collect food items.The order of events and rules of competition will be sent out closer to the carnival.
