① 題⽬/Title: Exploring Local Biological Solutions for Mosquito Control and AMR to                         Tackle Infectious Disease Challenges in Bangladesh   　講師/Teaching Staff: Md Kamal Uddin, Ph.D Dr. Md Kamal Uddin, an Associate Professor at the University of  Chittagong, examines the significant burden of infectious diseases in Bangladesh, especially focusing on mosquito-borne illnesses and antimicrobial resistance. His research aims to develop novel biological control methods using local bacterial isolates to target mosquito larvae and to assess the potential of plant essential oils as synergistic adjuvants to restore antibiotic sensitivity in multidrug-resistant clinical isolates. ② 題⽬/Title: Non-Hodgkin lymphoma in an HIV setting: Incidence, Trends and Biological Insights      講師/Teaching Staff: Shaheen Mowla, Ph.D Dr Shaheen Mowla is Associate Professor in Haematology at the University of Cape Town.  She is a cancer biologist specializing in HIV-associated malignancies, with a focus on aggressive lymphomas, a group of diseases of relatively high prevalence among the South African population.
